In this self make up tutorial video Ekta Bakshi demonstrates how to achieve a classic black smokey eye look. Classic black smokey eyes can be worn with almost any lip shade. Ekta is wearing a slightly glossy pink lip shade. Steps & Products: 1. Apply a very light brown eye colour on the crease line and blend it. Ekta is using a Makeup Studio Contour Colour. Keep the eye open while applying the colour so that you are aware of where your crease is. It is important to blend properly. 2. Next take Maybelline Colour Tattoo (Tough as Taupe) on a synthetic brush and add apply it on the lid below the crease line. 3. Take black colour (any black colour will do) and place it on the eyelid as demonstrated in the video. 4. Next step is to reduce the intensity of the black colour. Take a dark brown shade and apply it over the black colour. This will create a nice shade along with an even and blended look. 5. Use a shimmery colour from the palette as highlighter. Apply it below your brows and blend. 6. Apply kajal. Black smokey eyes look great with lots of Kajal. Girls with small eyes can go for a nude pencil instead of kajal or mascara. 7. Finally apply Loreal Voluminous Mascara to apply volume to the lashes. Products Used For Base: 1. MAC Prolonged Wear Foundation NC 25 2. Makeup Studio Concealer Palette. 5. MAC Studio Fix NC 30 6. Ben Nye Luxury Powder 7. Makeup Studio Contouring Kit 8. MAC Spring Sheen Blush 9. NYX Illuminator for highlighting Black smokey eyes is a very safe makeup choice. It can be worn on big as well as small eyes. You can wear it in the evenings with Indian as well as western outfits.
